Marina D’Odorico, Ph.D. in Sociology and Social Research Methods from the Catholic University of Milan. As a member of the Immigration and Asylum Law unit, since 2001 she has been working for ISMU Foundation, where she has been taking part in the planning and execution of national and international projects particularly on integration issues. Her research interests concern the role of contexts in supporting or hampering the implementation of integration practices, the meaning of citizenship and the role of legislation in shaping the pathway to citizenship, as well as the role of law in asylum seekers and refugees’ experiences.
