Francesco Vecchio is a post-doctoral research fellow at Charles Sturt University, Australia, and collaborates with Fondazione ISMU since 2007.
His research interests span across several disciplines with a focus on mixed migratory movements, irregular border crossing and informality.
After completing studies in Milan and Padua, he gained work experience in international and non-government organizations across Europe and Asia before completing a PhD in criminology at Monash University in 2012.
